A revolver scope base rail for use with the above listed Taurus revolvers. The rail has 11 ring slots which make it easier to set up eye relief and find more desired placement of pistol scope or red dot sight on top of the revolver. No drilling is needed. The scope rail is clamped onto the vent rib on the barrel using the hex screws and two steel tabs. The steel tab goes through the openings underneath the vent rib and clamp down by tightening the hex screws. Top rail is compatible with weaver style rings and also will mount red dot sights with weaver style mount. Machined from extruded aluminum alloy. Mounting screws are included with the unit.

* When mounting the rail onto the revolver, check alignment of the rail to the center line of barrel before tightening the clamping screws. If the clamping screws extrude too much and touch the barrel surface after fully tightened, use a small #6 washer under the screw. Using blue Loctite thread locker strongly recommended and check on the screws periodically as they might become loose due to recoil.
